Vedium's methodology isn't about watching videos and memorizing vocabulary lists. It's about practicing the language with a teacher, in your class, at your level — and actually progressing.
Before you start, you take the free placement test, which identifies whether you're at A1, A2, B1, B2 or C1 (for English) or the equivalent stage for Yoruba and Portuguese for foreigners.
Based on the result, Vedium avoids placing you in an incompatible class — neither below what you already know nor above what you can keep up with.
Classes are live, 1 hour long, with a real teacher correcting pronunciation and sentence structure in real time — not a recording you watch alone.
In Yoruba, for example, Vedium teaches the language alongside its culture — songs, greetings and context — because treating a language as a list of loose words simply doesn't work (learn more in Yoruba online).
You advance based on real progress, followed by your teacher — with no forced fixed deadline and no long-term contract locking you into a schedule that isn't yours.
At the end of the course, according to the completion requirements, you receive a certificate verifiable at vediums.com/en/certificado.
